I am puppeteering the Grandfather and the 2 Forest Rangers (Hunters). These characters are the only human characters besides Peter and represent the stern authority which Peter outwits. While puppeteering, I’m conscious about the rhythm and movements appearing differently than the animal puppets.

I repaired the Bird puppet which is a very active puppet throughout the performance. When I received the puppet, the wings wouldn’t flap, the mechanisms were stiff, and the puppet simply did not work. I took the puppet apart, took out unnecessary materials that contributed to the weight, and redesigned the wing mechanism. It works beautifully. I also designed a lightweight hallowed tree stump which I designed to hold the goose puppet.
